A 15-year-old Ruston boy is facing a second-degree murder charge following the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy early Friday morning.
Ruston Police Department officers reported responding to a call concerning an unresponsive juvenile around 2:54 a.m. Friday in the area of Ginger Drive in Ruston.
When officers arrived they repored finding the 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
RPD reported questioning the 15-year-old and taking him into custody and charging him with second-degree murder.
No further details about the incident were available over the weekend.
