The Ruston High School track and field team is giving back to their fans and community.
As a thank you for the support the team has been given in recent years, the team and its coaches will hold a free burger lunch plate giveaway starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Dave Anderson Track at L.J. Hoss Garrett Stadium.
The giveaway of 200 plate lunches will continue until supplies run out.
“We just wanted to thank the people of Ruston for their support, and as always, being ‘Ruston Strong,’ ” said RHS head coach Allen Whitaker.
