Grambling State University Police charged an Arkansas man with battery of a dating partner earlier this week after an investigation of an alleged assault on Sept. 1.
Jaylon Ikeguleu, 22, of Bradley, Ark., was arrested by GSU Police Investigator Henry Foy after the suspect was interviewed Monday.
The female victim reported Ikeguleu heated a fork on a stove in his GSU campus apartment and intentionally burned her on her outer left thigh. Ikeguleu reportedly admitted the act in the interview.
Ikeguleu was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Bail was set at $27,000.
