
The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run crash that caused injuries near Farmerville on Wednesday.
Shortly after 4 p.m., a black pickup truck with chrome bumpers was involved in a crash on La. Highway 2 near Willie Brantley Road east of Farmerville. The black pickup left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement, travelling north on Willie Brantley Rd, the same direction the vehicle was traveling prior to the crash.
Authorities said the black pickup should have significant damage to the driver’s side, possibly including some red paint from the other vehicle.
The driver of the black pickup truck was described as a white male approximately 30 years old.
