Ruston fans that will not be able to make the drive to the Superdome Friday night will still be able to experience the game.
KXKZ 107.5 FM will be the audio home for the state championship contest, where play-by-play Kyle Roberts and color commentator Nick Brown will have the action live with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
Brown also oversees BearcatNationNetwork.com, and unfortunately due to licensing issues, there will not be a Ruston-only live stream for the title game.
“The LHSAA does not allow anyone to stream championship events live other than the NFHS Network,” Brown said. “They did offer us to stream via delay or stream a image of the scoreboard, but we did not want to do this. We are so thankful for all the support the Bearcat Nation Network has received. We look forward to providing coverage of Bearcat and Lady Bearcat sports all year long. The amount of Bearcat Nation fans who have watched has been unbelievable We are overwhelmed at all the support and say thank you.”
A monthly subscription will be required to watch a video feed with a neutral commentary for either $11.99 per month or $79.99 for an entire year.
An audio stream of KXKZ can be listened to entirely for free by clicking here. The Z1075 app is also available on the iTunes store or the Google Play store.
