J.P. was born on December 11, 1940, in Rayville, LA. and passed away on December 08, 2022, in Ruston, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Nathell Parker.
He is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Shirley Parker; his son Duane Parker and wife Sarah; grandchildren Jack and Sammie Parker; stepchildren; Jimmy Clements and wife Carol, Peggy Choate and husband Gary, Carolyn Clements, Barbara Little and husband John; 11 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great grandchildren; brother, Curtis Parker and wife Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
