After not playing a match since the middle of December, Ruston High School boys’ soccer squad (2-3-1) fought to a 0-0 draw with Loyola Prep Tuesday night at home.
“It was a tough one tonight,” Ruston head coach Erich Hankamer said. “The first game back from the long break is always the toughest. We start a tough stretch with seven games in 14. The boys played hard.”
Both Ruston soccer programs return to the pitch Thursday, Jan. 5. The girls will be at home for Pineville at 6 p.m., while the boys will be on the road at Sterlington at 5:30.
