Man arrested for public disturbance

A Ruston man was arrested Friday night after he reportedly caused a disturbance at a mobile home park where he resides.

Ruston Police responded to 200 Riser Road in response to a report Refugio Amador Rinconsillo, 24, was extremely intoxicated and attempting to fight residents of the park. Rinconsillo was arrested and taken to the North Louisiana Medical Center for evaluation due to his high level of intoxication. At the hospital, Rinconsillo continuously yelled very loudly, disturbing other patients and staff in the emergency room.

Once his examination was complete, Rinconsillo was taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. While awaiting booking officers, he was directed to sit on a bench in the sally port. He later stood up and attempted to run out of the sally port, but he was restrained by the arresting officer.

Rinconsillo was booked for two counts of disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. Bail was set at $1,000.
