Louisiana Tech football, in conjunction with Conference USA, announced its broadcast schedule for 11 games of the 2023 season.
As a result of the new Conference USA TV contract, seven of the Bulldogs’ games will be nationally televised. LA Tech will have five games broadcasted on CBS Sports Network, two on ESPNU, two on ESPN+, and two which have yet to be determined but will be on one of the ESPN platforms.
The Bulldogs’ season opener at Joe Aillet Stadium against FIU will kick off under the lights on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. on CBSSN.
After the week zero match-up with FIU, LA Tech will travel to Dallas for a showdown with SMU on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcasted in front of a nation-wide audience on ESPNU.
LA Tech will kick off at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ for both its non-conference home match-ups with Northwestern State (Saturday, Sept. 9) and North Texas (Saturday, Sept. 16).
Their first C-USA road contest at UTEP on Friday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. in front of a national audience on CBSSN.
Following the Friday night showdown against the Miners, Tech returns home to face WKU on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs’ first match-up with the Hilltoppers since 2018 will be televised on ESPNU.
The following three conference clashes will be aired on CBSSN as LA Tech travels to face Middle Tennessee (Tuesday, Oct. 10) at 6 p.m., hosts New Mexico State (Tuesday, Oct. 24) at 6 p.m., and visits Liberty (Saturday, Nov. 4) at 5 p.m.
The Bulldogs close out the regular season by hosting Sam Houston on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. and visiting Jacksonville State on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. Both games will appear on one of the ESPN platforms and will be finalized at a later date.
Television for the non-conference matchup at Nebraska on Saturday, Sept. 23 has yet to be determined.
