Double-digit kills by junior outside hitter Harper Cauley helped lead the Ruston High Lady Bearcats (5-1) past the Ouachita Lady Lions Tuesday night at the Ruston Sports Complex in straight sets by finals scores of 25-9, 25-18, and 25-11.
“The girls did a good job of controlling the offense tonight,” Ruston head coach Mandy Cauley said. “We were dominant at the net due to our quick transitions and solid free ball passing.”

Cauley’s 10 kills came with eight digs and four aces. Senior middle blocker Jade Smith added six kills and three blocks, while senior middle Hannah Rollins totaled five kills and three digs.
Freshman setter Baylor Cauley aided with 21 assists and a team-high seven aces serving.
