Louisiana Tech fans will have the opportunity to meet and dine with the 2023-24 Bulldog basketball team in the second annual Legends Dinner hosted by head coach Talvin Hester.
The social event will take place on Nov. 2 at The Venue in Ruston from 6-8 p.m. (doors open at 5:45 p.m.).
At the reception, Mike McConathy will be honored as this year’s Bulldog legend. McConathy lettered at LA Tech from 1973-77 in route to being a three-time All-Southland Conference selection as well as a 1976 AP All-American honoree. Inducted in the LA Tech Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011, he recorded 2,033 career points, which still ranks as the second most in program history.
As part of the formal program, fans will also have the opportunity to take part in live and silent auctions with a variety of special items. Dress is business casual.
The price is $65 with a $15 discount per ticket to couples. Tables can be purchased for $500, which includes sitting with a member of the Bulldog basketball team (total of seven seats). Coach Hester’s table can be purchased for $750.
