A Choudrant man was arrested Thursday evening after the deputy who stopped him found he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Joshua F. Pabon, 24, was stopped on La. Highway 33 about 10:30 Thursday night for an equipment violation.
A record check showed Pabon was wanted by the Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for domestic abuse battery.
When searched, suspected marijuana was found in a cigarette package from Pabon’s pocket. A digital scale typically used in drug trafficking was found under the passenger seat of the car.
Pabon was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a headlight violation, and the domestic battery warrant.
