Last year the goal was to get in.
And the Lincoln Preparatory School boys basketball team did just that, reaching the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division IV state championship game before falling to Northwood-Lena 62-47.
But after that learning experience, this season the Panthers are in it to win it all.

The Lady Panthers open the season on Tuesday at Shreveport-Southwood while the boys team tips off regular-season action on Nov. 18 (next Saturday) in the Wossman Tournament.
Lincoln Prep will play up in class often, on both the boys and girls side, before beginning District 2-1A play on Jan. 23 at St. Frederick.
