Grambling State University will suspend operations and cancel classes on Monday, February 15, in light of anticipated inclement weather. Classes are expected to resume Tuesday, February 16.

According to the National Weather Service, A mix of rain, freezing rain, and freezing drizzle is expected through the late morning hours today mainly across north Louisiana. Another round of light freezing precipitation will be possible on Saturday night across the same areas. Temperatures will continue to drop each day through early next week with an extended period of sub-freezing temperatures for most of our area late this weekend into the middle of next week. The coldest temperatures ranging from the single digits to the mid-teens will occur on Tuesday morning.
