Railroad crossing closures set for this week

Railroad crossings within the city of Ruston will be alternately closed at times this week, weather permitting, for improvements/repairs to be made to the crossings.

The city encourages the public to plan to take alternate travel routes during the closures and reminds the public that the planned dates could change due to inclemate weather.

Dates for the schedule works are as follows:

Tuesday
Santiam Road (U.S. 80 East to McDonald Avenue)

Wednesday
Monroe Street (W. Park Avenue to W. Railroad Avenue)
Maple Street (W. Alabama Avenue to W. Barnett Springs Avenue)

Thursday
Homer Street (W. Mississippi Avenue to W. Louisiana Avenue)

Friday
Vienna Street/U.S. Highway 167 North (Park Avenue to Railroad Avenue)

Saturday
Trenton Street/U.S. Highway 167 South (W. Park Avenue to W. Railroad Avenue)
