Parish law enforcement to auction off seized vehicles

Area residents looking for a new ride might find the deal of their dreams thanks to the hard work of the Lincoln Parish law enforcement personnel.

The Lincoln Parish Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force has seized as the results of drug crimes and will offer for sale the following vehicles:

The described items are offered for sale to the highest bidder or bidders submitting sealed bids for the purchase of said items. Bidders must bid on each item separately, and each bid must be submitted in a separate envelope. Sealed envelope shall have the opening date on its face, with sufficient reference to identify bid, giving the item description and VIN Number being bid on and referencing item number.

Bid forms may be obtained from the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office at 161 Road Camp Road, Ruston, Louisiana. Bids will be received in the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s office, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, 100 West Texas Avenue, Ruston, Louisiana, until 10 a.m. Thursday, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.

There are some special conditions concerning the vehicles:
A. The items will be sold (as is – where is) based entirely on the personal inspection and/or opinion of the purchaser and without warranty or guarantee of any kind on their actual working condition.
B. Bids in an amount less than minimum bid values stated will not be considered.
C. Payment must be received before any items are removed. Successful bidders must remove items within 10 days of bid award.
D. Items can be inspected at 167 Haddox Road in Ruston on Monday through Wednesday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
