Motorists on or around Interstate 20 late Friday were buzzed by a low-flying helicopter apparently performing a medical transfer.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations prevent information concerning patients to be released, but helicopter landed in the parking area to the west of Temple Baptist Church, where it was met by an Acadian ambulance unit.

A patient on a stretcher was transferred to the helicopter before it took to the sky, heading parallel along I-20 moving west toward Shreveport.
