Hundreds of parish residents flocked to Lincoln Parish Park Saturday to attend the first ever Lincoln Parish Park Festival.
The event featured food vendors, kids’ activities, a car show, vintage travel trailers, children’s book giveaway, fishing lure and K-9 demonstrations and a regional cornhole tournament.
“This has probably turned out even bigger and better than we first hoped,” said Lincoln Parish District 12 Police Juror Annette Straughter. “The weather is perfect and everyone seems to be having a great time. And we’re helping raise funds for the park while having all of this fun. I’m already ready to start thinking about next year and how we can make this even bigger and better.”
