A man found sitting in the roadway near the intersection of E. Line Avenue and Kirkland Street in Ruston around 3:19 p.m. Saturday was arrested by the Ruston Police Department on the charge of simple obstruction of a roadway.
Armoniee Langston, 23, of 416 E. Line Ave., was arrested and transported to Northern Louisiana Medical Center where he was detained under a Physician’s Emergency Certificate (PEC).
That PEC was rescinded Sunday morning and Langston was reportedly read his Miranda Rights, handcuffed and transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
Bond for Langston was set at $1,000.
