A pair of familiar faces, including a player from Lincoln Parish, is at the top of Class B in Louisiana.
The Holden Rockets Choudrant Aggies in baseball each won LHSAA Class B titles in Sulphur.
Choudrant’s Braden Jones is the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Most Outstanding Player for Class B while Aggies’ pitcher Brandon Carter joined his teammate as a first-team all-stater.
Carter went 5-0 on the season with five saves and 97 strikeouts.
District 2-B was also represented by Quitman’s Luke Morgan (.481), Weston’s Davis Tolar (.351) on the Class B All-State Baseball Team.
Aggie Luke Tassin earned All-State honorable mention for baseball, as did Quitman’s Joshua Smith.
Choudrant’s Zoey Smith (.461) was named to the Class B All-State softball team. Also earning All-State softball honors from District 2-B was Quitman’s Cali Deal (.500) while the Lady Wolverines’ Madison Brymer earned honorable mention.
