The Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce awarded the 2021 second-quarter Everyday Excellence Award to Josh Evans at Experience Ruston CVB (Convention & Visitors Bureau).
An Everyday Excellence winner is a person who regularly goes above and beyond in doing their job. This person chooses to give it their all in a way that brings positivity to their fellow man.
Josh was “caught” going above and beyond when he changed a flat tire for visitors of the CVB.
The Chamber staff, CVB staff, members of the Chamber’s Community Development committee, and a few others gathered in the lobby of the CVB to surprise Josh.
“I’m just being me, I like to make people happy,” Josh explained. Josh is a recent graduate of Louisiana Tech University.
Thanks to Amanda Carrier, President / CEO of the Visitors Bureau, a surprise presentation to Josh was made on July 1. In addition to a yard sign proclaiming, “Everyday Excellence Winner Works Here” and a certificate of appreciation, Josh received a $25 restaurant gift card from Northern Louisiana Medical Center, a 3-month fast pass from RocketFast Car Wash, $25 gift cards from Railway Coffee and Log Cabin Grill, and a goody bag from Experience Ruston CVB.
