As many of you know our Highway Department has already started our annual road resurfacing throughout the parish. We are around the halfway point of the Recycling Program and still have our full Resealing Program to go. The Recycle Program includes the following Roads: Lisbon, Centerpoint, Davidson, Pipes, Washington, Fuller, and Cooper. We have already removed the hardened patches on these roads and set up the base in those sections. The next step is Prime Oil. Starting tomorrow on Pipes Road and continuing on all of these listed roads please be careful of any prime oil on the road surface. We will apply sand to soak up any excess oil; however be sure to drive slowly in those areas as it will be slick at times. The oil should be dry depending on the weather within 24-48 hours. In the coming weeks as we close our Recycle Program and open our Resealing Program we will update you further.
