City holds groundbreaking for Monroe Street Corridor Project

The City of Ruston is excited to announce the breaking of ground on the Monroe Street Corridor Project!

Thanks to the support of U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, who helped procure government funding for the project, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s grant will allow the City of Ruston to construct new roadways, improve and rebuild deteriorating roadways, add bike paths, and more.

The project is composed of seven interconnected infrastructure projects that will increase the efficiency and safety between Louisiana Tech University, the Enterprise Campus, downtown Ruston and Interstate 20.
