The Grambling State University men’s basketball team is set to travel Puerto Rico for a trio of exhibition games.
The Tigers are set to square off against the best players from Liga de Baloncesto Puertorriquena (LBP) in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“It’s important that we go out there and get a chance to know each other,” said head coach Donte’ Jackson. “We’ve a got a new team with some new guys playing different roles. It’s an incredible opportunity for us to get exposure and allow us to grow together as a team.
GSU opens action on Aug. 9 against the LBP White All-Stars. On Aug. 11, the Tigers return to action versus the LBP Blue All-Stars. Grambling State concludes to trip on Aug. 12 with a contest against the LBP Red All-Stars.
Game times and streaming will be announced at a later date.
