The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a El Dorado man on several drug charges after he was stopped in Vienna Wednesday.
Laderrick DeAndre Williams, 35, was stopped on December 3 while traveling southbound on U.S. 167 for an equipment violation. Williams told the deputy he had never obtained the driver’s license.
The deputy detected the odor of green marijuana coming from inside Williams’s vehicle. When asked about the presence of weapons, Williams said he had a pistol in the center console.

When queried about narcotics, Williams said he had about a “quarter” in the vehicle, slang for a quarter of an ounce of marijuana.
A search of the vehicle located about 7 grams of suspected marijuana, 15 grams psilocybin mushrooms, 200 highly-concentrated THC edibles, and drug paraphernalia including grinders and a digital scale. William told the deputy he forgot the mushrooms were in the vehicle.
Williams was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of THC with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a controlled substance, and no driver’s license.
