Three arrested after Farmerville business burglary

The Farmerville Police Department apprehended three men following a store burglary early Thursday morning.

According to FPD, suspects Martin Hernandez, Matthew Lee, and Jerry Sullivan, all of Purvis, Mississippi, were arrested January 8.

Hernandez was accused of burglarizing the Dollar General Store in Farmerville and was charged with aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated vehicle burglary, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled substance.


Lee and Sullivan were booked for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled substance, and possession of a stolen firearm. The firearm was reportedly stolen in Mississippi.

Officials reported three pistols, drugs, approximately $20,000 in cash, and a large amount of Vape supplies were seized. The suspects allegedly claimed to be selling the liquid vape supplies, some containing CBD.

FPD said the investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
