A narcotics task force arrested two Ruston men last week after a search warrant was executed at each of their homes.
Christopher Bradford, 28, was arrested at his Sage Court residence at about 5:15 a.m. on January 8.
The Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with Ruston Police and the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered several types of drugs.
Located in the kitchen cabinets were: a glass jar containing 52 grams of marijuana, a bag containing multiple smaller bags of marijuana weighing approximately 35.5 grams, two digital scales, a bag of crack cocaine, and five bottles of promethazine. An undisclosed amount of cash was also seized.
Bradford was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, position of promethazine with intent to distribute, violation of the drug-free zone law, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kenny Archie, 34, was arrested at his Jones Street home in Ruston after LPNET, along with Ruston Police and the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, went to his residence at about 12:50 p.m.
In a search, a quantity of marijuana was found near the entry door and synthetic marijuana was found in Archie’s bedroom, according to an officer’s report.
Archie was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for a possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
