Willis Knighton Health broke ground Wednesday on its 90,000 square foot medical office building in Ruston.
Dignitaries from the Office of the Mayor, City Council, Lincoln Parish Police Jury, Lincoln Parish School Board, and Louisiana Tech University, joined Willis Knighton leadership, Board of Trustees members and healthcare providers to officially kick off the project – a $50 million investment.
The four-story structure designed by Somdal Associates will consolidate Willis Knighton Physician Network clinics in Ruston in one location and feature lab, X-ray, and Work Kare. It will also allow the opportunity to add additional services and specialties based on the needs of the community.
Current clinics in Ruston include Willis Knighton Family Medicine Ruston, Willis Knighton Pediatrics Ruston, Willis Knighton Cardiology Ruston, Willis Knighton Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Ruston and Pierremont OB/GYN Specialists.
Construction time for project completion is 18 months.
