Cedar Creek quartet earn all-district honors

Following a season that saw Cedar Creek return to the Select School Division IV semifinals, a quartet of Lady Cougars earned all-district honors.

Avery Ryan and Mary Grace Hawkins both earned first team honors while Alivia Lee was named second team all-District 1-1A. Caroline James received honorable mention accolades.

The group led Cedar Creek to a 22-9 record and the second straight trip to Marsh Madness in Hammond where the Lady Cougars fell to No. 1 seed Southern Lab Wednesday.

Arcadia’s De’Asia Alexander was named the district MVP after leading the Hornets to the district crown and a NonSelect School Division IV semifinal appearance.
