An Arcadia man was arrested in Lincoln Parish last week after he was stopped for speeding and was found to be wanted on warrants for failure to appear in court.
Frank Bernard Womack, 25, was stopped on March 20 on U.S. Highway 80 for speeding 81 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.
The Lincoln Parish deputy who stopped Womack conducted a records check which indicated the man’s driver’s license was under suspension.
The check also showed Womack was wanted on warrants for failure to appear in Ruston City Court on charges of driving under suspension and no liability insurance.
Womack was arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for speeding, driving under suspension, and the two City Court warrants.
