A Dubach man was arrested last week for drug charges and possession of a stolen motorcycle after authorities investigated a fake 911 call.
Matthew Chance Perritt, 32, of was arrested April 1 after a residence was searched in connection with the investigation of the 911 call.
The call originated at a La. Highway 563 residence in Lincoln Parish shortly before 6 p.m. April 1. Deputies from the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office questioned a woman living in a camper at the residence. She denied making the call.

The caller had identified himself as Matt Garrison. The woman said she had a boyfriend who was not on the premises by the name of Chance Merritt. However, deputies determined the correct name was Matthew Perritt.
A records check was conducted on a motorcycle parked in front of the camper. The check showed the motorcycle had been stolen in Dubach.
Deputies directed anyone who was in the camper to come outside and Matthew Perritt came out without incident.
Perritt was asked if he was using the motorcycle for transportation, and he replied yes. When asked where he got the motorcycle, he refused to answer further questions.
A search of the camper located a bottle of promethazine prescribed to someone besides Perritt and the woman, a glass smoking pipe containing suspected methamphetamine, highly concentrated THC edibles, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia, including measuring scales.
Brass knuckles were found in Perritt’s pocket when he was arrested. He was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of THC, possession of methamphetamine, possession of promethazine, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of a weapon, and illegal possession of stolen things.
