The Grambling State University Police Department confirms that arrest warrants have been signed by a district judge following the identification of suspects involved in an isolated firearms-related incident that occurred on campus Wednesday near residential dorms.

The Grambling State University Police Department has worked diligently to investigate the incident and quickly identify those responsible: Travonte Spears, Norris Kelly, and J’Quarrius Brown. Spears, Kelly, and Brown are strongly urged to turn themselves in to authorities immediately.

“Grambling State University prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, and staff,” said Chief Operating Officer Penya Moses. “We are committed to maintaining a secure campus environment and will continue working closely with Chief Rodney Demery, GSUPD, and our law enforcement partners to bring these individuals into custody. We appreciate the ongoing support from all law enforcement agencies that responded to our campus today.”

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to contact the GSUPD at (318) 274-2222 or their nearest local law enforcement agency. These individuals are considered armed and dangerous.
