A West Monroe man was arrested in Lincoln Parish last week after he allegedly ran off interstate 20 and crashed into a tree.
Louisiana State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on I-20 eastbound near mile post 93 just after midnight on April 12. Evan Singh, 35, reportedly ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
A trooper saw that Singh showed signs of impairment and smelled of alcoholic beverages. Singh reportedly performed poorly when field sobriety tests were administered.
Singh was arrested and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center where a breath test was administered. The test indicated Singh’s blood alcohol concentration was .155g%, well over the .08g% limit. He was booked for second offense DWI and careless operation of a vehicle.
