A Dubach man was arrested last week by Ruston Police after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run crash while intoxicated.
David Armstrong, 64, was booked for DWI and several traffic charges after police investigated a traffic crash.

Officers noticed one of the drivers smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages. Armstrong admitted he had been driving and was involved in a hit and run accident. According to an officer’s report, Armstrong performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
Armstrong was offered a breath test at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center but he did not provide a sufficient breath sample in the allotted time. He was booked for second offense DWI, no driver’s license issued, hit and run driving, and failure to yield.
Bail was set at $3,500.
