
Graveside services for Mrs. Willie Frazier, age 86 of Choudrant, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Choudrant Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Larry Emory officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, Louisiana.
Willie Mae Gilcrease Frazier, lovingly known as “Gan” by her family and grandchildren, passed away on February 8, 2026 in Ruston, Louisiana, at the age of 86. She was born on December 14, 1939 in Winnfield, Louisiana.
Willie shared 68 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jackie Frazier, and was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for and spoiling her family.
Willie was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She loved the Lord and served Him faithfully, allowing her faith to guide her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Known for her home-cooked meals and warm hospitality, Willie loved sewing, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones. She worked for the Bank of Choudrant (now Origin Bank) for more than 20 years and was admired for her strong work ethic and kind spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Frazier; son, Steve Frazier (Lin); grandchildren, Kyle Pee (Misty), Jordan Frazier (Emily), Logan Frazier, and Lenzie Frazier; great-grandchildren, Layla Pee, Madeline Allement, Stephen Allement, Laney Frazier, and Ruby Frazier; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents, Bertrice and John Gilcrease; daughter, Sherry Lea Frazier; brothers, Charles, James, Fred, Blanchard, Donnie, and Benny Gilcrease; and her sister, Sylvia Gilcrease Bland.
To her family, she was simply “Gan,” and she will be remembered for her loving heart, generosity, and the joy she brought to those around her.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Ruston Nursing and Rehab and the nurses at Premier Hospice of Arcadia for their compassionate care.
