The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the promotion of Deputy Mark Denton to the rank of Sergeant recognizing his dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving the community.
“Sergeant Denton exemplifies what it means to be a true public servant,” said Deputy Sheriff Landon Hunt. “He has a genuine heart for people and is a blessing to our community and our office. Mark leads from the front and is highly respected by his peers. We are looking forward to him serving in this new position.”
In his new role, Sgt. Denton will be overseeing the everyday operations of the SRO (School Resource Officer) Division and Juvenile Court. The LPSO is confident that his leadership and experience will be invaluable in these critical areas.
Sgt. Denton has been an exemplary member of the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office for many years, consistently demonstrating professionalism and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. His passion for working with young people and ensuring their safety makes him the perfect fit for this position.
