LA Tech to host “Lead & Launch: The Innovation Institute” for high school students this summer

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Louisiana Tech University, in partnership with Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Louisiana Delta Community College, will host “Lead & Launch: The Innovation Institute,” a free summer experience for rising high school juniors and seniors June 15–19.

Held at Louisiana Tech’s College of Business, the week-long program is designed to help students think creatively, solve problems, explore business ideas, and build leadership confidence through hands-on learning experiences.

Throughout the week, students will work in teams to develop and pitch a business concept while learning from entrepreneurs, community leaders, and industry professionals. Participants will also take part in field trips, interactive activities, and a final “Pitch Day” presentation.

The camp is free to attend and includes meals and a camp t-shirt. Space is limited to 30 students.

Lead & Launch will take place at Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business in Ruston. Registration is now open.
