A 38-year-old Choudrant resident was arrested Sept. 3 at the Lincoln Parish courthouse annex after a probation officer reported finding a plastic bottle appearing to contain urine concealed in the person’s shorts during a required drug test.
Debbra Hann was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center on one count of falsification of drug tests, according to police reports.
Hann reported to the courthouse annex that day for a monthly meeting with a state probation and parole officer and was instructed to submit a urine sample for a drug test.
While the sample was being collected, the officer saw Hann attempting to retrieve and open a plastic bottle from between Hann’s legs. Hann was instructed to stand up, then placed in mechanical restraints and searched. The officer retrieved a plastic bottle from inside Hann’s shorts that appeared to contain urine.
Hann was advised of Miranda rights and transported to the detention center.
