RUSTON, La. — Following an impressive 24-10 overall record and another district championship, the Ruston High Lady Bearcats earned the No. 8 overall seed in the 2026 LHSAA volleyball postseason tournament and will host No. 25 Live Oak tonight at home at 5:30 p.m.
“I’m so excited to be able to host this year and get to play again with these seniors in front of a home crowd,” Ruston High Head Coach Mandy Cauley said. “The girls worked really hard to create this opportunity for themselves and I’m very excited to see their hard work payoff.”
During the season, Cauley won her 150th LHSAA match as a head coach, and senior setter Baylor Cauley reached the 2,500 assist mark for her career.
Should Ruston win, the Lady Bearcats would then host the winner of No. 9 Chalmette and No. 24 Hahnville.
