Man arrested after damaging home

Ruston Police arrested a Calhoun man Thursday night after he allegedly damaged a woman’s home. 

The victim told police that Paul J. Letterman, 35, had punched a hole in an interior wall of her residence. The victim said Letterman had left the scene but he was located at a service station on the I-20 North Service Road. 


A warrant was located for Letterman’s arrest for failure to appear in 3rd District Court on a child support case. When he was arrested, officers found a glass pipe with suspected drug residue on it on his person. 

Letterman was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for simple criminal damage to property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the failure to appear warrant. 

Bail on the damage to property charge was set at $1,000. No bail was allowed on the warrant.
