Ruston man arrested in ‘revenge porn’ case

A Ruston man was charged Wednesday after he allegedly committed an act of “revenge porn.”

A woman told Ruston Police officers that Jayvon Wilson, 21, of Ruston, sent two images of the two of them having sex to her new friend via Snapchat. The images were provided to police.

Officers contacted Wilson and asked if he wanted to tell his side of the story. Wilson reportedly said he did not wish to speak to police. He was arrested for nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.

Bail was set at $1,500.
