Grambling Police arrested a woman early Saturday after she allegedly attacked her relative with knives.
Jasmyne Martia Wright, 25, of Grambling, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday morning at a Richmond Drive residence.
After the relative unplugged the Wi-Fi, Wright allegedly attacked her with kitchen knives, then chased her, knives in hand, yelling “Bloody Mary, bloody Mary.”

An officer found Wright walking on Richmond Drive with several knives in her hand. Police ordered her to drop the knives and immediately took her into custody.
Police found Wright’s relative with visible scratches and blood on her face at a neighbor’s house. She told officers Wright became angry after the Wi-Fi was unplugged, and attacked her, hitting her with both open and closed fists.
The victim said Wright then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and ran at her yelling, “Bloody Mary, bloody Mary,” and threatening to kill her. The relative ran to a nearby residence and called 911.
A witness told officers Wright chased the victim, yelling she intended to kill her. The witness said after the victim ran in her house, Wright said, “Get that -— out of your house. I’m about to kill her as soon as the police pull up.”
Wright was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center charged with aggravated assault, simple criminal damage to property, and domestic abuse battery. Her bail amount was $1,500.
