
A Ruston man was arrested in Grambling last Monday after he was found to be in violation of a protective order.
Billy Ray Green, Jr., 24, was arrested after Grambling Police responded to University Place Apartments. According to an officer’s report, an apartment manager told Green to leave the premises, but he had returned.

Officers found Green sitting in front of the apartment of an apparent dating partner. Due to the officers’ knowledge of domestic issues between Green and the occupant of the apartment, a check was conducted which revealed an active protective order. Since Green was in proximity of the victim named in the order, he was arrested for violation of a protective order and taken him to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
Additional charges of three counts of misdemeanor probation violation were later added, He is also is being held for felony probation violation for the Louisiana Department of Corrections, Probation & Parole Unit.
