The Ruston Fire Department is excited to introduce our first 5 new recruits of 2025.

The five newest additions are Jonathan Gill, Mackenzie Tatum, Sha’Taylor Reed, Kyndahl McDade, and Armando Ayala.

According to the Ruston Fire Department Facebook page, the five will soon be heading to Fire Academy for 16 weeks of rigorous EMT and fire training.

When they return they’ll be fully prepared to serve our community just like the rest of our Ruston Fire Department Firefighters.
