Louisiana Tech officials announced Wednesday that ticket sales for the upcoming Ruston Regional are going fast and the University is expecting a sellout for its first ever baseball regional at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
Tech will host NC State, Alabama and Rider in the double-elimination format starting Friday and running through Sunday (and even possibly Monday depending on the if-necessary game).
Right field berm sales to the general public are now closed in order to accommodate sales to Louisiana Tech students. Tech students are encouraged to check their Tech email addresses for information on right field berm seating for the tournament.
Tech officials also announced that general admission sales to the left field patio area will begin at 5 p.m. tonight (on-line only). Only 250 all-tournament passes for the left field patio will be sold for $45 each (no single-session passes will be sold for this area). The left field patio – located outside of the gates of J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park – will be fenced off and a left field patio ticket will be necessary in order to enter the location.
Fans who purchase left field patio passes are encouraged to bring their own chairs as no bleachers will be available in this area. Fans can go to am.ticketmaster.com/latech/regional to purchase the GA left field patio tickets.
Chairback ticket sales opened Tuesday morning and have only been available for season ticket holders until Thursday at 9 a.m. when any remaining chairbacks can be purchased by LTAC members. The general public will have the opportunity to purchase any remaining chairbacks starting Friday at 9 a.m. (although based on ticket sales, the expectation is that all chairbacks will be sold prior to Friday).
Fans are reminded that there is a clear bag policy at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park that will be enforced.
Limited concessions will be available in both the right field berm and left field patio areas. Fans who have right field berm area tickets have access to all concession areas within the stadium.
No pets are allowed inside of J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
