The City of Ruston would like to recognize Officer Dylan Castaneda, who was a recipient of the 2021 Law Enforcement Officer Distinguished Service Award. The Louisiana Banker’s Association gives Louisiana financial institutions the opportunity to recognize law enforcement officers who have gone above the call of duty to assist banks with financial fraud. Officer Castaneda was nominated by Century Next Bank’s Chief Operations Officer, Lorie Hamlin, for his dedication to a major check fraud ring case in which all suspects were successfully apprehended.
