The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Department is opening its shooting range as hunting season approaches. Hunters can visit the range to sight in their rifle scopes on the following Fridays between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m.: September 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.
No appointment is needed and there is no fee for this service.
Shooters should provide their own hearing and eye protection.
The range is located on Old KOA Road just north of Interstate 20 off the Simsboro exit (Exit 77).
