Library offers crafts for kids, teens, adults

As the weather begins to cool and fall has finally reached Louisiana, Lincoln Parish Library has crafts for all ages to take home and create.

Staff in the children’s department have a scarecrow craft for the youngest patrons to take and make. Kids and their parents can also watch a video on the library’s Facebook page for step by step instructions on creating the craft.

The teen department has a holiday ornament craft kid available to patrons. Individuals interested in this craft can stop by the teen department at the library to pick up this kit.

Also, for adults, there are still a few felt pie-slices pennant garland available. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the research and reader services information kiosk. Detailed instructions and all supplies are included except for scissors and glue. Hot or fabric glue is recommended. Hot glue guns with glue are available for checkout while craft kits are available.

All of the library’s crafts are free.
