How long have you been on danceline and what is it about it that you enjoy?
I’ve been dancing with the EE’s since sophomore year, and I love being on the team with all of my friends. We have so much fun cheering at football and basketball games, and I really love all of the girls on the team.
Top 3 favorite movies? Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children; Baywatch; The Holiday
What is something you cannot live without? Chocolate.
What kind of impact do you want to leave on this world?
I want to be someone who is able to help a lot of people. I really just want to be a helpful person that people can trust when they need anything.
Who is your hero?
My hero is Mrs. Buffy Walker, my art teacher. She is always so kind to others, and I strive to be as bright and cheerful as she is when I grow up. She is very caring and is always there when I need anything.
What do you love about your school?
I love all of my friends at school. I have a lot of really nice people in my grade who are fun to hang out with and be around. They make going to school fun for me.
What is your favorite high school moment?
My favorite high school moment was when I walked into math this year and there was a cake on my desk. I asked the teacher why it was there, and apparently, my mom had brought a birthday cake to school for me and contacted two of my friends and told them to throw me a surprise party in math. It was a lot of fun and very sweet of my mom and friends to do that.
What are your plans after high school?
I want to be a veterinarian. So after high school, I’d like to go to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth for undergrad. I’ll probably go to LSU for vet school, but if I don’t get into LSU, it would be fun to apply to a vet school in the Caribbean or somewhere tropical.
