How long have you been on danceline and what is it about it that you enjoy?

I have been on the EE danceline since my sophomore year. My favorite thing about it is getting to make so many friends, as well as making so many memories with them. I love attending and dancing at football games—some of my most special moments have been out on the field.

What is something you cannot live without?

What kind of impact do you want to leave on this world?

I want to be thought of as a good leader, as well as someone who is always there for the people around them. I also want to be empathetic, which I hope starts a trend that continues in kindness being shown to others.

Who is your hero?

My hero is my English teacher, Mrs. Bordelon. Not only does she give the best book recommendations, but she inspires me every day to not only be a better writer, but a better person. If I become a journalist, I hope to one day be as talented a writer as she is and to be able to positively touch as many lives as she has influenced for the better.

What do you love about your school?

My favorite thing about my school is all my wonderful friends and teachers who have not only taught me many valuable lessons, but who have made my senior year experience wonderful. I’m so grateful for the impact they have had on my life and how they make every day fun.

What is your favorite high school moment?

My favorite high school memory is the tradition my friends and I have of eating at Dairy Queen after home football games.

What are your plans after high school?

After high school, I hope to be able to go to college in North Carolina or Tennessee and major in Communications. I don’t know where I want to go after that, but I hope to get a master’s degree. I would love to work either as a journalist or in PR after my college graduation.
